| Finally the last experimental is finished. The experimental series is complete. The TIE Bomb is out and about looking for targets lol. Wow! This thing is scary being in site. When flying around, I found couple rebels parked and went to go boom! Did it destroy everything caught in the blast radius. I even got shot in mid flight and went BOOM!! And killed friendlies around me including ground troops walking below lol. TIE Experimental M4 (Bomb) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the TIE Shard. A Designated Days Exclusive. The wings are rotated 90 degrees forward. The Story behind this is a Sienar Fleet Systems operator came to do his shift hung-over. While placing the schematics of the TIE Fighter in the computer, he rotated the wings forward and made them 1.5m longer in length and 1m shorter in height. The Twin Ion Engine exhaust ports were extended by 1m in length. He failed to double check and went forward with an order of 100 TIE Fighters. When the Star Destroyer Mega arrived for its order, they were delivered these strange new TIE's never before seen. They were never tested at all. The one responsible was chosen to fly one by the admiral of the Mega or face criminal and sabotage charges. Strangely enough after several test flights and weapons tests, and tested against a TIE Fighter, the TIE Shard performed ok. Was 1.1% slower then a TIE Fighter. But 1.5% more maneuverable then a TIE Fighter. Weapon output was the same. However the Star Destroyers were able to carry more of the TIE Shards then the TIE Fighters due to there low height. The TIE shards performed as well as a TIE fighter and almost hard to hit as the TIE Interceptor. The Rebels nicked named it the Shard because when they fly in formation and break out of formation for combat, they look like a thermal full of shards went off. TIE Shard ------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

| The TIE Bomber gets a make over. I didnt like the stock one as it didnt have correct details and was missing model details on the bomber. Plus the wings were to thin and long. Here is the DD version. TIE Bomber ----------------------------------------------------------------------- |

The Interdictor looks furious. | Only aces, veterans and topguns can fly these babes! I had a dream of this variant. So I had to make it next lol. You know how they say, Follow your dreams! The TIE Cyclone. Shoots 6 blaster cannons. Added a torpedo for balance shake in DD sky/space maps. TIE Cyclone -----------------------------------------------------

| This was a good design for a TIE Dive Bomber. I like it. So I added it to the collection of bombers. I always thought TIE Bombers would have a hard time recovering from a dive run. Not sure who's design this is, but if ya find out, let me know. He will be added to credits. Or if its lucas arts. TIE Dive Bomber ------------------------------------------------------------ |

| I believe the user's name on SW Fanon Wiki is Astragon67. He contributed a lot of designs to the site. That's the only relative information I could locate.
http://swfanon.wikia.com/wiki/TIE_Talon
http://swfanon.wikia.com/wiki/TIE_Retribution
http://swfanon.wikia.com/wiki/TIE_Dart
http://swfanon.wikia.com/wiki/TIE_Armageddon_Torpedo_Platform
His page of contribution articles: http://swfanon.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Contributions/Astragon67?target=Astragon67
I especially like the Talon and the Retribution. The Torpedo Platform also looks like it can do some damage.
Very well done on these latest designs and the TIE Bomber definitely looks much more accurate with the new parts! |

| Wonder what a TIE Bomber chassis would look with the TIE Interceptor's wings (maybe a bit longer) instead of the normal one? It'd be classified as a fighter/bomber. |

| @Revansith - would be interesting to see that variant. @Cdt Fox - It will fly and drop bombs and fire torpedos like a normal bomber. But will take damage easy. These are the imps in space. Calling this DD: Empire Days. Of course Imperial Days involves ground only. Some imperial pilots with TIE variants being tested. There will be imperial pilots wearing standard, blue, yellow, grey white uniforms. Naval troopers protecting the SDs hangers. The rebel blockaderunner was given a lowrez model with new collision models. Now it can be seen in the distance properly. Also have plans to make des parts for the 2nd mini imp ship. | @Revansith - Thx commander. Indeed. i figured I better start learning to work with space maps for DDs flight battles. The Rebels get a new fighter. The D-wing! It is like a combination of the x-wing and snowspeeder. But mainly the snowspeeder. Built by Incom Corporation. These assault fighters have 4 blaster cannons, 6 torpedos, 2 torpedo launchers, life support, hyperdrive same as an x-wing. Minimum shields. However it wasnt as maneuverable as an xwing. But not by far. It is fast as an xwing. The 4 cannons can be replaced to increase torpedo count by 2x. Total 18. This would leave the D-wing vulnerable to enemy fighters. A good pilot can maneuver its way out of danger. Th D-wing cost 105,000 credits. 70,999 used. YES! These dudes will be flying these awesome A-wings, D-wings, X-wings, Y-wings. They will be protected by these rebel fleet troopers. |

| Superb work Ice! Those imperials guns are great! (The ones with the blues TIE pilots) Having Icemember in modeling for DD allows you to have an awesome gameplay with numerous new weapons....But unfortunately those weapons won't be released because of designated days exclusive! So don't look at Icemember's dd work or else you will want to have ALL the dd maps in your assets folder...lol As a suggestion for the D-wing will you be able to add transparency to the cockpit? For exemple like Sereja's Slave one: - Spoiler:

| @Cdt Fox - I have thought about adding 3rd person cockpits. They will be added later on. And today rebels again get a new starfighter! The P-Wing. The story behind this is that naboo supports the Alliance. To help support, they sent the blue b-prints of the N-1 SF to the Alliance. The Alliance then had Incom build these fighters for the Alliance. But instead of making the N-1, they saw improvements could be made with todays technology. So they went to work and came up with the P-wing. Fast as the A-Wing, and maneuverable as the X-Wing. Has 2 blaster cannons, 1 torpedo launcher, 6 torpedoes, hyperdrive, lifesupport, shields. Rebel pilots considered this a perfect reconnaissance starfighter. This Fighter Sold at 89,999 credits. Back in its time, the N-1 sold for 200,000. This Fighter would have sold for 220,000 credits. P-WING -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

| Interesting vehicles commander. I was looking at rebel crafts in Rogue and EAW. Tonight the Alliance get there own landing craft! The Rebel TC-27 (Rebel Transport Carrier-27) I noticed the rebels used a LAAT for there boarding party lol. Felt out of place. It has 2 blaster cannons in front. But thats all. This craft is ment for dropping off squads into battle. Rebel troops love being carried into battle in this ship. When building this, i was thinking B-27 bomber along with a Starship Troopers drop ships. Rebel TC-27 ------------------------------------------------------------------- |

| This was first seen in Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight. It was a "hoversled", though no real usage was shown in the game. This is the only picture of it that I can find, but if the Imperials need a hover transport for massive beachhead assaults, here you go. I know you had one for Kashyyyk Days, but maybe these could be used as actual pilotable vehicles along side it? With a heavy blaster covering them as they move closer toward shore. I think a map based on the Battle of Grenada would be awesome: |

| The imperial design for DF2 looks good. That can be used. The one for kashyyyk days was a drop port for troops. They get dropped off by imperial shuttles. |

Dark Forces re-imagined in Jedi Academy, 2008
Teancum recently took on the project to finish it. Maybe we can ask him if we can get the layouts of all the maps I mentioned. Surely there are maps of the levels out there somewhere. There's a type of Imperial dropship that I took pictures of in the Secret Base and on Talay. I would have gotten to the Rebel base if I hadn't had trouble turning on cheats so that I could no-clip and get better pictures. I played through this mod legit so many times when it was released. I think we need these guys: http://hapslash.tripod.com/jkii/navytrooper_01.jpg (Hapslash)
http://wat.midco.net/eggnog1/navy-00.jpg (Hapslash) http://hapslash.tripod.com/jkii/navytrooper_02.jpg (Hapslash)
Better model of Imperial Officer (Hapslash): http://wat.midco.net/eggnog1/implod.gif http://wat.midco.net/eggnog1/IIO-lod3.jpg
http://hapslash.tripod.com/jkii/imps.gif
General Rom Mohc: http://hapslash.tripod.com/jkii/mohc_11-03a.jpg
Even if we base our stuff off of the quality of Hapslash's work, we'd have some good stuff to work with. You could just as easily just put the Rebel Tantive 4 trooper's head on a different model for the Navy Trooper.
Also, a generic version of an ISB, utilizing something like Agent Kallus's armor.

| I'm just gonna leave these here Fractal Sponge have these high detailed imperial star destroyer models. There more of them but here's a few of them. Secutor Class Star Destroyer (I think would fit best for this series) http://fractalsponge.net/?p=48 Interdictor Star Destroyer http://fractalsponge.net/?p=867 I'm not sure if these ones are canon, but they look so cool Impellor-class Fleet Carrier http://fractalsponge.net/?p=1096 Theres also the Gladiator one but I can't find a good HQ screenshot http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Gladiator-class_Star_Destroyer You know what I don't like about the stock battlefront 2 imperial star destroyer, is it does not have dual hangars, and the bottom hangar is just a painting. Maybe these pictures could be possible ideas? |
